Wedding Barn Venue
Choosing to hold your wedding at Church Manor Barn means total freedom to create your dream day. You will have exclusive use of our wedding barn venue and can choose your caterers and entertainment, giving you complete flexibility to develop your individual style and make the space your own.
We are licensed at Church Manor Barn for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. This allows you to get married in our marquee-lined barn, with sweeping ivory curtains and views over the fields or anywhere within our beautiful grounds, from the secluded croquet lawn to the orchards looking down towards the lake.
Your Ceremony
The Barn is licensed for weddings with up to 200 guests but has the flexibility to create more intimate celebrations. We are also licensed to hold ceremonies anywhere on the estate including the picturesque gardens or manicured croquet lawn.
For couples looking for more traditional ceremonies, Wicklewood Church or Wymondham Abbey are available.
Your Wedding Reception
We’ve equipped the Barn with everything you’d expect and a fully dimmable LED lighting system to get the party started. The ample luxury and quirky bathrooms (including disabled toilets) are always a talking point amongst guests; you’ll also find baby changing facilities, a disabled toilet and a shower.
You will also have the use of a bespoke 15-foot bar equipped with a glass washer and bar fridges. The unique bar is illuminated from underneath, displaying thousands of colourful marbles, making it a fun and striking addition to your event. There’s no corkage fee for table wine, and a professionally licensed bar is included in our wedding barn venue.
what’s Included?
• Five-day venue hire from Thursday to Monday (excluding commercial vehicles on Sunday) gives you plenty of time to set up, enjoy your wedding, and clear up afterwards.
• A fully-stocked and staffed bar for the day of your wedding.
• A Saturday wedding.
• A point of contact in the lead-up to your big day for last minute details and measurements.
Optional Extras
Luxury accommodation at The Pheasantry, an on-site, air-conditioned eco-retreat that includes accommodation and a handmade breakfast. A two-night stay (Friday and Saturday night) costs £400, and a three-night stay (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night) costs £500.
The generously sized stage and large dance floor ensure we can cater to your choice of evening entertainment. With a green room for the band, you’ll know that every avenue is covered.
The Barn is extensive and can seat a maximum of 250 guests for a sit-down wedding breakfast and more for a buffet-style wedding and the evening party.
Outside, you’ll find ample parking in the field right next to the Barn, with disabled parking close by.
